²⁴ and to Jesus, the ^(A)mediator of a new covenant, and to the ^(B)sprinkled blood, which speaks better than ^(C)the blood of Abel.

¹² and not through ^(A)the blood of goats and calves, but ^(B)through His own blood, He ^(C)entered the holy place ^(D)once for all time, ^[a]having obtained ^(E)eternal redemption. ¹³ For if ^(F)the blood of goats and bulls, and ^(G)the ^[b]ashes of a heifer sprinkling those who have been defiled, sanctify for the ^[c]cleansing of the flesh, ¹⁴ how much more will ^(H)the blood of Christ, who through ^[d](I)the eternal Spirit ^(J)offered Himself without blemish to God, ^(K)cleanse your conscience from ^(L)dead works to serve ^(M)the living God?

² looking only at Jesus, the ^[a](A)originator and perfecter of the faith, who for the joy set before Him ^(B)endured the cross, ^(C)despising the shame, and has ^(D)sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.

¹⁷ Therefore, in all things He ^[a]had ^(A)to be made like His brothers so that He might ^(B)become a merciful and faithful ^(C)high priest in ^(D)things pertaining to God, to ^(E)make ^[b]propitiation for the sins of the people. ¹⁸ For since He Himself was ^[c](F)tempted in that which He has suffered, He is able to come to the aid of those who are ^[d]tempted.
